All Muslim children are encouraged to learn about Allah ﷻ, and this book is designed as an ideal introduction to the most important foundation of Islam: Tawheed. It is based on the Saudi Arabian primary school curriculum and presents authentic Islamic knowledge in a structured and age appropriate way for young learners. The book helps children build a strong understanding of Islamic beliefs from an early stage of their education. Tawheed means singling out Allah ﷻ in all forms of worship. It teaches that every act of worship must be done sincerely for Allah alone, seeking His pleasure and following His commands. A Muslim performs good deeds with the intention of pleasing his Creator, Sustainer, Provider, and Owner, who is Allah ﷻ alone. This understanding forms the core purpose of a believer’s life and actions. Tawheed is divided into three main categories. The first is Tawheed al Ruboobiyyah, which means believing that Allah is the Lord, Creator, Sustainer, Provider, and Owner of everything in existence. The second is Tawheed al Uloohiyyah, which means directing all acts of worship to Allah alone, as He alone deserves to be worshipped. The third is Tawheed al Asma wa al Sifat, which means affirming the beautiful names and attributes of Allah as described in the Qur’an and Sunnah without distortion or denial. Children studying Tawheed benefit in many ways. They learn clear and logical understanding that Allah is the Creator of everything. They recognize that all aspects of life are controlled by Allah alone. They understand that since Allah is the only true Lord, He alone deserves worship. They also learn about the beautiful names and attributes of Allah ﷻ and develop love for Islam and righteous actions. The use of illustrations, Qur’anic verses, and authentic Hadith makes learning easier and more engaging. This book is an excellent starting point for children to begin their journey in understanding their faith and developing a strong connection with Allah ﷻ through knowledge, reflection, and practice.
