This incident dates back to 1990′s. My grandma’s brother (referred to as dadaji here) had to visit us from Aligarh on this fateful morning. Dadaji was a feeble, hyper active, nimble footed and quite a jovial man in his middle sixties who always wore an ear to ear smile and who loved to talk. He could keep talking till eternity. He had grown quite forgetful due to his habit of excessive talking. My father intervened, “But, Mamaji I didnt see her with you on the railway station and you never told me that she has accompanied you, not even yesterday when you informed me of visiting us, on our neighbour’s telephone. We didnot have a landline at our home at that time and she was dialling on our neighbour’s landline number who themselves had left for another town on the same day early in the morning.
